Personality:
Despite an overall indifferent attitude towards people, Paris' specialty lies in his ability to work effectively in a team. He's good at coming up with the big picture and throwing out ideas, and prefers letting other people try to help him fill in the details. Because he's not inclined to bias, he makes better friends with people who don't try to tie him into meaningless emotion-based squabbles. He's generally quiet and mellow, inclined to using actions over words. If he gets overwhelmed he gets a little snippy so he tries to avoid large events. (Sporting events are the exception because he can zone in on the event and not be bothered.)

History:
After a very simple childhood, Paris' first surprise in life was when his father got shot in the shoulder at an attempted robbery at the store he was a security guard at. His mother's sister, who had a secure and comfortable level of wealth, decided it was only proper that she took them all while he recuperated from his injury and sought to find a new line of work somehow. When Paris' father went to go study away at a university for a couple of years, it was his aunt they continued staying with.

The worst thing about staying with his aunt, was that she was a vegan. Additionally, she was very determined on keeping her household that way as well, so for a kid who loved red meat more than candy, it was awful.

Luckily, he was saved by a letter.

The letter confused both him and his mother whom he showed it too. It wasn't as if he'd done anything magical- or maybe he had and never payed attention. In fact he had never heard of a wizard who played baseball so he thought for sure he'd be out of the running.

His mother was skeptical, but went along with it, surprised when all the instructions came to be true. Paris spent a long time trying to figure out the wizarding world he'd never known of; even after five years at Hogwarts, he still doesn't feel like he quite gets it.


Other:
He really likes playing baseball.
In his 5th year he lost a bet to a Ravenclaw and had to dye his hair blue and it's just about grown out now.
He's really bad at understanding jokes.
